Hi everyone:)
I would like to share my impressions about my York Terrier Missy.
Missy is a lovely dog. Love cuddles, attention. She is very affective dog which can fit in any environment so quick and easy. She is making friends very well. She is so tiny (weights only 2kg!) but She is great alert dog. Many books and websites are saying that York will not fit family with little children, they are more one person dogs. But from my experience - I think this all depends from where somebody got puppy from, how this person was treating her dogs and etc I got my puppy from house with little children and puppy was used to children so much already. Kids was adoring her and she was adoring them so much. She is still so friendly to everybody.
Only one thing what I was struggling with was her long coat. Everytime when she went for a wee and for a little run outside she always was coming back so dirty, with tangled hair. Just awful. So I decided to strim her hair... She got short coat at the minute with longer hair around her head:)and I noticed difference straight away:)
How Yours experiences are with Yorks? xx
