WHITE FISH WITH VEGETABLES


INGREDIENTS:


  • Skinless and boneless cod fillets or different white fish
  • egg
  • flower
  • fish seasoning (if You don't have - You can use pinch of salt and pepper with a little bit of fresh lemon)
  • vegetables

PREPARATION:


Sprinkle a little bit of fish seasoning on the top of each fish fillet. Cover both sides of the fish with a flower and then with egg and then again with the flower. When all fillets are coated with flower and egg, put fillets into hot pan with a little bit of the oil. Fry for about 10 minutes ( until done) on the medium settings. Don't forget to turning over fish during frying. And delicious fish is done. Next You can prepare vegetables from Your own choice. I served my fish with baked potato waffels, fried egg, mashed potatoes and swede&carrot mash.

PANCAKES


INGREDIENTS:

  •  1 cup of flower
  • , 1 egg, 
  • 3/4 glass of milk, 
  • half tea spoon of baking powder, 
  • 1 table spoon of cooking oil + oil for frying,
  •  3 full table spoons of sugar,
  •  pinch of salt, 
  • yoghurt 
  • toffee sauce.   



PREPARATION:


Flower, egg, milk, baking powder, 1teaspoon of oil, sugar, salt add to big mixing bowl. Mix all ingredients together until nice and smooth ( it should look quite thick). Warm  pan up with a little bit of cooking oil. When oil is warm, poor about half glass of the your mass into hot pan.  Cook for about 1 -2 minutes on the pan. When pancake got brownish shade, turn over on the other side and cook for about a minute. When is done, remove from the pan, put on the plate, wait about 2 miniutes to cool down your pancake, smooth with yoghurt, roll up, and poor with toffee. You can try Different options for pancakes as well, for example: yoghurt with sliced banana inside with toffee sauce on the top, vanilla yoghurt inside and jam on the top, yoghurt with chocolate balls smoothed inside and chocolate sauce on the top and etc :) you can just use your imagination and create something very tasty what you will really like :) enjoy cooking and enjoy your pancakes :) thanks for reading!!!

LITTLE LUNCH - WAFFLES & FRUITS






Many times I struggle with kids, because they do not want to eat fruits. So I decided to mix something what they very like with some fresh fruits. Results - they are eating all with smile on the faces:)) so my mission is completed. And now I would like to share with You my delicious fruity lunch which I think it is perfect for everybody, not only for kids:) waffles with yogurt and fresh fruits:) or the other option just yogurt with big chunks of the fruits with a sprinkled chocolate :)  



                     Waffles recipe:
- 1 full cup of flower
- 1 glass of the milk
- 2 fresh eggs
- little spoon of cooking oil
- a little bit of the sugar
- pinch of salt
- baking powder - little spoon

All ingredients mix together. Next turn on waffle maker, smooth a little bit of the oil on the waffle makers baking plates( you can use little brush for it). Wait until waffle maker is warm enough, and pour in little bit of mixed ingredients on the baking plates. And wait until waffles turn in nice brownish shade. Take it out, put yoghurt on the top and decorate with fresh fruits :)))


The other option:

- yoghurt
-  chunks/slices of fruits ( i used strawberries, blueberries and bananas)
- shredded chocolate on the top :) this could be something diffrent too(for example  yoghurt  mi with fruits and nuts or muesli)

CURRY





I love curry dishes. So I decided to share with You my favourite one:) It is very simple and easy and it takes only about 30 min to prepare this meal. 

INGREDIENTS:

  •  chopped/stripes of the meat (chicken or pork), 
  • stir fry vegetables,
  •  curry mild powder, 
  • rice 
  •  pinch of salt and black pepper. 

PREPARATION: 

First You need to boil water for rice and cook rice until soft. During when rice is boiling, you need to fry meet until tender, next when meet is ready You are adding stir fry vegetables ( I used Mexican mix with chopped red and yellow peppers,  green beans, onions, sweetcorn , red kidney beans, chili, baby sweetcorn, coated with special Mexican mixture:) I got this pack from Lidl for only about £1,50 )) Fry everything until nice and soft. When rice is done You are adding this rice (without water) to pot with meet and vegetables. Stir everything together. Add curry powder and pinch of salt and black pepper. Stir very well and meal is ready to serve:))) enjoy :))


Fish + vegetables + nuddles = tasty meal for kids:)



I think 6 Of 6 stars meal. My kids love this dinner. And it is quick & healthy. Suitable for babies age from 7 months old:) and i think it is good for kids at any age.


INGREDIENTS:

  • fresh or frozen fish fillet - boneless and skinless
  •  1 swede,
  •  1 carrot, 
  • 1 leek, 
  • 1 onion, 
  • funny shaped pasta, 
  • green peas,
  •  baby stock cube,
  •  baby formula milk. 






PREPARATION:


Vegetable cut to shapes of little cubes and put to pot with baby stock cube. Boil until everything go soft. During when vegetables are boiling, put fish to baby milk ( baby milk made with proportions like for bottle) to the other pot and cook for about 10-15 min (until cook properly). When everything is nice and soft, made pasta. After when everything is done, remove vegetable from the pot and put on baby plate, add funny shaped pasta and little chunks of fish :) but make sure that fish do not have any bones,without stress, check little bit after bit. And it's all done :) for finishing touch You can sprinkle a little bit of dry parsley  :)) I hope Your kids will enjoy this meal in the same way like mine :)))

CAULIFLOWER SOUP




 Ingredients:

  • cauliflower, 
  • carrot,
  •  sweetcorn,
  •  little broccoli,
  •  minced lamb,
  •  parsley leaves,
  •  lovage leave,
  •  baby stock cube, 
  • chopped onion 
  • pasta
 Preperation:

Add all chopped vegetables to pot, add stock cube , add meat and fill pot with water. Put on the hob and start cooking on medium settings. After when everything is nice and soft, add lovage and parsley and shimmer for few more minutes. Next step is to prepare pasta : boil water with little pinch of salt, add pasta and boil until soft. And all soup is ready now :)) put pasta to a baby bowl and pour with delicious own made soup with vegetables :) at the end you can sprinkle with dried parsley to make even more colourful and more healthy soup :) Enjoy !:)

PORK / BEEF STEW


 

Ingredients: 

  • chopped pork or beef;
  •  yellow, green and red pepper ( stripes),
  •  decided onion,
  •  sliced carrot,
  •  can of chopped tomatoes,
  •  1 clove of garlic,
  •  1 flat teaspoon of chili powder,
  •  stock cube
  •  mushrooms,
  •  barley 
  • cooking oil. 





PREPARATION: 

First you need to fry meet in slow cooking pot, after when meet get brownish shade, you are adding  onions, peppers and carrots. Fry this all together for about 3 minutes, next you are adding chopped canned tomatoes. Next you need to melt stock cube in the cup of hot boiled water and you pour this to your pot with meet. Then you are adding chopped clove of garlic and chili powder, mushrooms. Time of cooking is about 40-45 minutes on medium cooker settings. ( cook until meet is soft and tender) Pot need to be covered with a lid during cooking. #After this cooking time if you want to thick your stew you will need 3 big tablespoons of flower and half cup of water. Put this two ingredients into cup and stir well until flower is smooth with water and add slowly to pot with meet and stir everything well. Next step is preparing barley. Boil water with a salt, put bag with barley in. Cook for about 20 minutes. When it's cooked - carefully soak water out of the bag, and put barley on the plates. And then pour your sauce with meet and veg on the top of barley. Enjoy your meal :)))

It's not easy...

It's not easy to be a mum. Many times mum need to make difficult choices, dosen't matter how hard it is, mum always will do everything what is in her power to help/make happy own baby. And lots of times Mum will have sleepless nights, lots of worries .... but she still will find the power to show affection and love to her children <3
I always want to do my best for my children and my husband. But not exactly always I can sort everything in life in way like I would like too...
My son, John, is 3&half years old and he still got problem with his speech. I have been going a lot to special childrens groups and on language theraphy and i think this all helped him a little bit with everything.
It's very difficult sometimes when you know that you cant do much about some things... so i decided to share with you some usefull tips about what to do to help your child with his speech and language.

First thing what you need to do  is  giving choices to your child, because it's great way and opportunity to use the words they are acquiring. The best thing how You can do this is by holding 2 objects on the front of your child and ask for eg do you would like to get this big car or little car/ or yellow or black car/ and etc and if the child points or says the items name - give this item to him. It will teach him to using words or actions to get what he want. You can give lots of choices in a lot of activities. If your child dont like to point on anything or saying words, you can also try to use diffrent words like e.g. ball-sock or cup - car.

Second important thing is commenting everything what are you doing with your child /or what your son or daughter are doing when he/she is playing. You can also join in his/hers activities when they are playing. To make easier for a child you can use only single words to comment. It's very fun and easy when you use some funny noises during the playing, or put a sound effects into this game. E.g. Train: 'go fast', 'push', 'choo choo' .

Another very important thing is waiting for answer from your child. E.g. Choose a toy what child love and hold of front of you and wait until you son or daughter points/reach for/ or ask for the item.

Other important thing is helping your child to request. (encourage your child to ask for items). To do this you can put something higher but in sight - so child will try ask for it. You can also try to hide one of socks and give only child one sock and see how your child react ( ask for the other one?:)or he will say sock/where ); give an empty cup and 'forget' to pour the juice and etc.
